Terza impressione Veneta. 1733, with 624 pages, small quarto, very rubbed boards with five raised bands -- leather spine with DeSolis title in gilt on a paston label. In Italian. Glued to the front free end paper is a description, apparently from a dealer’s catalog, describing the book. All five books to page 608 followed by the index, all in Italian. Opposite the title page of each book is a full page illustration with three horizontal panels, depicting various stories of the history. Recto of page 246 is a full page illustration of Montezuma.
