This speech incls some Jerry Rescue documents & details on the rescue of another slave, 1839. TOGETHER w/Gerrit Smith printed letter to John Thomas Esq., Syracuse, Chairman of the Jerry Rescue Committee. Peterboro, 1859, 2 pp., folio. Attacks those who supported rescue of Jerry (slave) & who now slack off. OCLC locates two copies. A quarter size hole at top affects four text words in two lines. (This price is discounted 50%.).
