Title: JOURNAL OF THE SECOND ANNUAL REUNION OF THE ...
Publisher: Princeton, Indiana: Clarion Job Office
Publication Date: 1893
Binding: Soft cover
Book Condition: Very Good
48pp. First edition. Original coated yellow wraps, some wear to spine, but a very good copy of a reunion record that includes a significant amount of wartime history of the 58th Indiana, which saw its first action at Shiloh, then at Stones River, Missionary Ridge, and Knoxville. Of my two favorite chapters in this interesting pamphlet, one is written by a medical director of Woods’ Division on the movements of Army field hospital at Chickamauga; the other is a first-person account of being inside Confederate lines the night before the Battle of Stones River. DORNBUSCH I, IN-142. Not in NEVINS. Not in NICHOLSON. Bookseller Inventory # ABE-14083290642
