Very handsome book, both in design and condition. Immaculate light gey boards with black and gilt title boxes to face and spine. No bumps. High quality silky paper is pistine both inside and at edges. Dustjacket has not been price-clipped and shows no tears or chips. Spine is sunned, as are edges of white jacket and there are a few soil marks at back. Looks most handsome in brand new mylar. Portait of Watts at frontis and book is illustrated throughout with wonderful black and white photographs, art, and drawings. An interesting biography which focuses heavily on the subjects life's work. Photographs and technical drawings further enhance his role in the Industrial Revolution. 207 pages. Indexed.
