"Here is a beautiful story, told in lucid and powerful prose, a story that is very relevant to today's rapidly changing world. Readers will love the conflict, developed with mastery and created to drive both the plot and characterization. I loved the way Joshua is conceived as a character and the transformation that takes place within him is quintessential of the power of Grace. The book also poses thought provoking religious questions: Is it enough to say "Jesus is my Lord" to be saved? Clearly not! This book shows readers what it's like to be a Christian in a world with changing morals and values. Jennifer Ball crafts an inspiring story that is as beautiful as it is entertaining."
Here is a story about Christian morals and values meeting head on with a society decaying away from Scripture. Joshua, a senior in high school, engages in parties and has a pseudo friendship circle. Abigail lives in another town. She is a freshman in high school, keeps her circle of friends pure and is open about her greatest relationship - Jesus. Joshua and Abigail are both believers in Christ, but have a different loyalty to Him.  God has a plan for this soon-to-be man, but Joshua can't hear Him through his frolicking with the world. God knows there is only one man who can change that journey - his dad, and tere is only one way his dad will give Joshua the message he needs to hear.

Abigail gets thrown into Joshua's life when she is given a very important task. These two teens, living in different towns, living different Christian lives, will have their worlds collide in a dramatic way that will alter Joshua more than he could have ever prepared himself.

Jennifer Ball, winner of the Bronze Medal 2016 eLit Book Awards for Religious Fiction and recipient of the 2015 New York Book Festival Honorable Mention for Young Adult Fiction, pens a story of a modern day clash of extremes. She takes you on a journey of teenagers growing up in a society of broken families, broken faith in God, broken promises and ultimately reveals God's forgiveness and His plans.

Two kids in different towns, a conflict of belief and values, but what can unite them? Here by Jennifer Ball is an inspirational story featuring two compelling characters, young believers who profess to be born again in the faith. The only problem is that one of them is so committed to living the call of her faith and the other uses faith as a cheap escape from the punishment for a lawless law. Joshua loves to party. He loves the booze and the girls. Abigail finds refuge in her faith and surrenders her life completely to her Lord, but she has her hurts as well. These two teens who live in different towns are bound to meet, and this book is the dramatic outcome of that encounter, a touching story of the power of faith and the inscrutable ways of God.
