Captivating work exploring what life was like for Jews in England and comparing their conditions, social, cultural, and economic with those of the general population. This study contains 13 in-text and full-page b/w figs. (including a folded plan). Included in this work is the text of 87 previously unpublished Latin deeds from the Westminster Abbey collection, as well as Hebrew poems written by Meir of Norwich. Text in English and Hebrew. Head and tail of spine bumped. Dust jacket bears shelf wear stains. Pages are in very good condition. Overall in good condition. V. D.
