About this title

With sketchbook in hand, John Jenott takes you on a tour of Mt. Shasta's dominion. From the Castle Crags to the communities that lie at the base of the beautiful mountain, to the Medicine Lake Highlands, Tulelake, Butte Valley, and Shasta Valley. It makes for a highly enjoyable trip.

About the Author:

Illustrator and history buff John Jenott has returned to his home base to create nostalgic and informative books about the little-known regions of far northern California. Prior to publishing his appealing sketchbook series, Jenott was known for his award winning work with the National Forest Service, the Parks Service and the Pasadena Rose Parade. The warmth of the illustrations and the clarity of the historical notes in the sketchbooks series have won him many new fans.

Store Description

I operated a used bookstore in Davis, California, from 1985-1992 (Berry's Books), then moved to Mendocino, and have been selling used books on the internet since 1998. Middletown CA is my new home, and the air here is ideal for book preservation (low humidity). I am a jack of all trades, master of none, which lends itself well to the book trade. I currently have 19,000 books online in 160 different subject categories. The inventory is regularly updated online, so if you see it listed, there is a 99+% chance that I can mail it by the next business day.
