Edition limited to 500 copies printed by Grabhorn-Hoyem, 4to, pp. 84, [2] plus the two original leaves bound in at the end; 8 full-p. reproductions and a few smaller illustrations in the text; original blue cloth-backed boards gilt, brown gilt morocco spine label; some minor spots to upper cover, else fine. Comparison of the two leaves which, in this copy, list entries from "Flash" to "Flection" (Johnson) and "Flat" to "Flea" (Webster) (with many common words between them) shows both Webster's debt to Johnson as well as some of the fundamental differences between them.
