An important work on Wedgwood, written by a former chemist for the firm. Number 778 of a limited edition of 1500. Cover boards are in the most familiar Wedgwood blue, decorated on the front with a Greek-style black and terra cotta vase. Top edges of pages are gilt.Color plates and black and white photos. Some fraying at corners and top of spine. Laid in are a flyer for a publication of Wedgwood's letters, and a short newspaper article about the razing of his home.Former owner's name on endpaper. This volume will require a little extra shipping and insurance, and to our regret is not available for international orders due to exorbitant shipping fees. Bookseller Inventory # 000183
