Since the original manuscript diary has disappeared the account is based on the 1825 edition with the addition of a six page introduction. The journey was undertaken in 1704-05 from Boston by horse to New Haven and on to New York City. The diary is a frank and insightful account of travel in New England. Fine clean copy.
