Pp. v, 587; 456; v, 478; some text figures. Black half leather over cloth, spine lettered in gilt (volumes 1-6), original printed pale green wrappers, lg 8vo. The first seven volumes of this rare and early journal on mycology. Volumes 1-4 were published in Manhattan, Kansas by Kansas State and volumes 5-7 were published in Washington by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Volumes 1-4 bound in one volume, volumes 5-6 bound in a second volume and volume 7 in four parts in the original wrappers. No ownership marks. Text is clean and unused in all of the volumes, some cracking and chipping to the leather at the base of the spine of first bound volume and slight wear to the outer joints of the first two bound volumes, some chipping and light marginal browning to the wrappers of numbers 1 and 3 of volume 7; overall a very good copy.
