First Edition, published by order of the convention. Bound in new full cloth cover boards with title label with gilt lettering to spine. Clean and unmarked. With new free end papers. Interior is slightly age toned especially on pages preceeding page 1, with "Bernardston" and number 20 inked to top of title page. Otherwise, clean and unmarked. Binding is square and solid. World Catalog OCLC Number: 12013312. A scarce copy of a meeting held on February 16, 1825 to assess whether additional canals were needed to improve navigation on the Connecticut River. Laid in are hand written notes, on three sheets of paper, concerning the proceedings. Includes a hand colored fold-out map of the Hampden-Hampshire Canal and a proposed extension. Un-paginated.
