The Fiske University of Nashville, Tennessee sent the Jubilee Singers to help raise money for the University. The first tour along the 'Underground Railway' raised over $40,000.00 and the second tour to Europe raised over $150,000.00 for the building fund erecting 'Jubilee Hall' on the campus. Internally there are no previous owners marks or signatures. The pages are clean with a bit of foxing scattered throughout, mainly to pages opposite the illustrations and tissue guards.
