About the Author:

A novelist and nonfiction author of books with religious themes as well as a published poet, Leslie Winfield Williams is currently working on a Masters Degree in sacred theology at the Yale Divinity School and was a visiting scholar at the School in both 2007 and 2004. She received her Ph.D. in English and American Literature from the University of Houston and also has a Masters Degree from Trinity University in San Antonio. Williams teaches two online English courses at Midland College, where she was named a Teacher of the Year. A recipient of a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts in 2001, Williams is a former model and a Senior Olympics Gold Medalist. She and her husband Stockton reside in Kerrville, Texas.
