About this Item

Green cloth decorated in blind and gilt. Top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed. 23 full-page plates, as well as pictorial headpieces and illustrations in the text. A bit leaned, some small marks to cloth, small ownership name written on the front end paper, in general an unusally bright and attractive copy. Published the same year as the UK edition, this American edition contains numerous changes, additions, and retitlings. A very nice copy. Stewart 124.
