Colophon reads as follows: SO HERE ENDETH THE KING OF THE GOLDEN RIVER, AS / WRITTEN BY JOHN RUSKIN: THE TITLE PAGE AND INITIALS / BEING DESIGNED BY SAMUEL WARNER, AND THE WHOLE / DONE INTO A BOOK BY THE ROYCROFTERS, AT THEIR SHOP, / IN EAST AURORA, NEW YORK, U.S.A., IN THE YEAR MCM. Roycroft logo with Elbert Hubbard printed in black and white opposite the colophon. Bound in limp brown suede lapping covers with leather title printed in gilt on the front cover and with brown silk grosgrain pastedowns. Running title in red in the margin of each page. Brown silk ribbon marker. A few tiny spots on the front cover (about the size of a pinhead), leather label intact and gilt bright, suede supple and plush, limp overlaps intact, ribbon marker in very good condition, else near fine with no internal markings.
