Red cloth with silver lettering and decoration to front board and just silver lettering to spine; light rubbing to boards, slight scuffing and bumping at spine ends. A few small dark stains to top edge and bottom edge with multiple small stains to fore-edge of which a few fractionally affect page margins. Interior pages are otherwise clean. Binding is firm. A very good- copy. With Preface, b/w photographs/illustrations throughout, and Epilogue. A quite uncommon local history reference for the central Mississippi county of Attala and its county seat of Kosciusko named after the Polish general, Thaddeus Kosciusko, who served on George Washington's staff during the Revolutionary War.
