This is one of 100 copies printed on white woven Dutch paper and bound thus. The Modern Language Review 6:4 (October 1911), 567. Kudrun, also known as the Gudrunlied, is a Middle High German epic, probably written in the early 13th century, perhaps influenced by the Nibelungenlied. It is based on the sea and is known for the prominent role given to women. It focuses on the trials and triumphs of Princess Kudrun.
