Book is a trade-size paperback with photo of John Oechsner on the cover. Book has light soiling and several papes have a damp stain on lower corners. Book is written from recorded interviews with Oechsner in El Paso. Oechsner was a soldier in World War I and served as machinist and motor mechanic and his Aero Service Squadron earned the reputation as one of the best in the American Expeditionary Force. His proposed variable pitch propeller would have advanced aviation by two decades. Numerous black and white photos from Oechsner's personal collection. 162 pages including the Squadron Roster for the 351st Aero Service Squadron. No dust jacket. Bookseller Inventory # 011782
