Uncommon older geology book. A large section of the book consists of mineral tables, published with descriptive side tabs. There are several fold-out illustrations. 542 pages. Hardcover. John Wiley & Sons. 1908 stated "First Edition First Thousand". Book: Good. Former owner name written on front end page and there is a stamp from The Anaconda Company on the front end page. Separation developing at both hinges, leaving them with looseness but still reasonably attached. Fold-out sections appear clean and complete. The section tabs show some soiling and are curling. Interior pages appear clean and unmarked. An ex-library book with usual indications that include library markings on spine, title page and two following pages and a card pocket and checkout slip on the rear end page.
