About this title:

Synopsis: There are over 20 million pacifiers manufactured every year in the United States. In addition, there are roughly 10 million infants and small children under the age of 4 that use a pacifier on a regular basis. While the use of a pacifier is common, the process of weaning a small child or infant off of one can be an extremely challenging period in a parent and child's life. This is one of the top ten developmental issues for which physicians are consulted. "Meet The Kikabees" The Kikabees are considered to be one of the first revolutionary transition tools on the market to help wean a child off their binkies, a.k.a. pacifiers. The character name Kikabee was derived from "Kick-A-B?" where the B could represent a: binky, bottle, blankie or any other similar dependency that must be overcome. The character designs still have the same visual concept as the binky, but are plush, stuffed adorable friends to hug, cuddle, and snuggle with after the binkies have been retired, kicked to the curb, or just set free. The Kikabee's are sold together with colorful storybooks depicting some of the wonderful adventures they've shared after being kicked to the curb. The adventures and destinations the Kikabees encounter are based on real life and are not fantasy based. They are meant to be informative and educational. There is also a series of Kikabee friends, puzzles and coloring books that can be purchased at www.thekikabees.com.
