41, [1] p.; 19 cm. Blue paper over boards with black spine and cover titles. Series title "Hogarth Living Poets No. 11" also on spine and front board. Hogarth Living Poets series listed on half title verso through no. 12. Printed by Neill and Co., Edinburgh. Woolmer, Checklist of the Hogarth Press, 207. Former owner's inscription on front free endpaper: "Rev. Charles C. Bubb, Fremont, Ohio, March 17th 1930." The Rev. Charles Clinch Bubb (1876-1936) was the founder of The Clerk's Press in Cleveland, Ohio. He published both theological works and poetry and was also a noted collector of fine printing. This volume of poetry containing 19 poems with a chivalric theme, was admired by Yeats. He included one of the poems, "The Greater Cats with Golden Eyes" in The Oxford Book of Modern Verse. In Very Good Condition: spine and board edges are faded; head of spine is rubbed; pages are clean and tight. Bookseller Inventory # 003820
