Issued in celebration of the hundredth anniversary of Sutter's founding of his settlement 'New Helvitia' which became the city of Sacramento. A translation of chapter ten from Lienhard's 'Californien unmittelbar . ' published in 1898. It is concerned with John Sutter and his fort.
