Large quarto in grey paper covered boards over tan cloth spine, tipped on Parrish illustrated title plate front cover, spine lettered in gilt. Top edge gilt, other edges uncut. Title page printed in red and black. xxxi+ 299 pp. Embellished with eight full page plates by Parrish. A tight, generally fine example, bit of light spotting along both gutters and a small bump lower front right corner; unobtrusive small gift inscription dated 1900 top corner of half-title page. Despite the minor flaws, the best example we have encoutered of this book, scarce in itself and rarely if ever found in this collectible condition. Bookseller Inventory # E16410
