Olive green/brown cloth boards have gilt lettering and embellishements on covers and spine. Top edge gilt. Covers and extremities are soiled and rubbed. Spine is darkened, bumped and rubbed at head and foot. Endpp. are cracked along the inner hinges, exposing the mull, yet joints remain tight. Former owner's bookplate appears on the front pastedown, slight offset on the ffep. Four leaves in the middle of the text have slight damage in the leading edge, page 243-44 has a closed tear which has been mended with acid-free tape.
