Privately Bound. Small Octavo. Vellum with printed endpapers. In German. Three titles bound in one volume. From a series of art history books by noted German critic and art historian Richard Muther (1860?1909). Each title contains numerous etchings and illustrated monographs. Each book covers an artist or arts movement and text is written by prominent German art historians of the day and published by the eminent Berlin art and literature publisher Julius Bard. The three titles in order are: James M. Whistler with commentary analysis by Prof. Hans W. Singer; The Modern Impressionists by Julius Meier-Graefe; and the Art of the Worpswede Colony (1884) by Hans Bethge. Very Good. Clean bright pages and tight binding. Vellum boards slightly bowed.
