A detailed guide to classical singing, providing many detailed illustrations of the body, head and chest that depict the state of the organs during various aspects of singing. Focus is primarily on opera and art songs. Charles Panzera was a 20th century Swiss baritone singer, known for his singing of art songs and interpretation of the melodie and the lied (see Wikipedia). GOOD condition, in poor condition tissue jacket. The tissue is very tattered, torn, chipped and browned, with extensive loss and creasing. Minor soiling, general fading and some edgewear to the book.
