Some paper issue covers with slight loss of text at top.Very good to fine condition.L'Assiette au Beurre was a weekly satirical illustrated French newspaper, founded by Samuel Schwarz Sigismund in 1901. It featured graphic artists of various backgrounds and styles who were sensitive to socialist and anarchist ideas. Each issue included a minimum of 16 illustrated pages of drawings and caricatures. Periodically, an issue featured a number of pieces by individual artists on a specific topic.

Shipping Costs: For books within the US: Ground UPS $8 for first volume, $4 for each additional volume. Heavy volumes cost more. Prints and posters $20.00 for 1-3. Most foreign shipments by airmail are $17.00 up to 1 pound or $60.00 up to 2.2 kilos by courier. For all other shipments, please inquire.
