100pp. Second edition, revised. Of the first printing, in 1892, only three copies are known. The story of the five Marlow brothers and their experiences in the West of the 1870s and 1880s, primarily in West Texas, as ranchers and ranch hands. They also explored Mexico and finally settled for good in Colorado. An interesting, authentic memoir. HOWES M-295: ‘Five respected, but nomadic brothers, caught in a conspiracy concocted by a Texas sheriff (of Young County. BG), had to shoot it out with the county’s entire male population. Only the two writing the story survived.’. Bookseller Inventory # ABE-14144425761
