Vol. 1: Maroon cloth with gilt letters on the front cover and the spine and with black endpapers. Fine in near fine dust jacket which is not price-clipped. Volume 2: Blue cloth with gilt letters on the front cover and the spine and with blue endpapers. Leading edge of front cover has a slight bump in the middle, else fine in near fine dust jacket which is not price-clipped. LOST AMERICA "graphically chronicles the disappearance of the nations's architectural heritage." [Preface] Many of the captions are extensive and provide iinvaluable information about literally hundreds of buildings which have since disappeared from the American landscape. Constance M. Greiff was a member of the Soceity of Architectural Historians and its Preservation Committee.
