A fine copy bound in white cloth with brown spine lettering, No. 46 of the signed, limited edition of 125 copies of this important book on the German photographer with an introduction by Kelly Wise and a profile of Jacobi by James A. Fasanelli and including numerous black and white photographs of European and American artists and authors and prewar scenes of Berlin and Hamburg. Included are portraits of Thomas Mann, Albert Einstein, Pablo Casals, Paul Robeson, Eleanor Roosevelt, and many others. Like the trade edtiion, this copy has three facsimile signatures of Jacobi but also contains her actual signature on the front endpaper below her printed signature. The book is housed in the publisher's original clamshell box bound in tan and brown cloth with a leather label. A fine speciman of this work. Bookseller Inventory # 6964
