N. pl. (Paris). Privately printed by the author. "The Author's Unabridged Popular Edition" stated on title page. Bound in tan buckram cloth hardcovers, spine stamped in gilt; hand notation on the front free endpaper states that this copy was bound 30 October, 1930 with an ownership signature just above. viii+ 365 pp. Page 1/2 of "Lady Chatterly" not bound in. Tight, near fine example, minor rubbing to the edges of the boards, pages embrowned about the edges as is usual. The first ediiton thus of the so-called "Paris Popular Edition" and the third edition overall, issued in an edition of 3000 copies originally at 60 ffrs. Lawrence put out this edition himself, with the inclusion of "Jolly Roger" in an attempt to combat the pirated edition that were appearing. Bookseller Inventory # E14183
