Very nice, clean book woith no bumps to boards and no names or writing. Very clean inside and out with jacket showing only one small tear to upper back edge. Looks most handsome in brand new mylar. Book is SIGNED by both authors on a specially designed bookplate affixed to front free endpaper. Measures 9"x11-1/4" and has 191 pages. Endpapers very handsome showing map of the city. Contents printed on coated paper and illustrated lavishly with historic photographs in both black and white and sepia. Lengthy text. Retains original slip from publisher about the book as well as a card printed for the Lakewood Centennial in 1989 which shows events on reverse side. Very nice! 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. In addition to his remarkable ability to schlep large piles of books from hither to yon, Eric brings over 30 years of retail experience to this endeavor! Also, joining our staff are our beloved bookshop kitties -- Miss Lil and Mickey. The former provides gentility and elan, and the latter (who is basically a street thug) provides comic relief. We believe that books are treasures, not commodities, and that readers are individuals, not numbers. Our greatest joy is in getting to know you and serving you with grace and good humor.
