This is the fourth revised edition of the amateur photographer library edition of The Lantern and how to use it No.10 by C.Goodwin Norton and Hudson Bonner dated 1898. This is a pocket book full of B&W plates showing various lantern types and how to use them. Chapters include, the illiminant oil, acetylene, limelight, cylinders, regulators, jets, the optical system, lantern bodies, slide carriers and more. Condition, cloth covered boards are worn to the head and tail of the spine, corner bumped and sun damaged, interior pages are quite clean and clear however, the stitching can be seen in places as you open the book up.
