"My interest became aroused when I heard stories of the Larpenteur family told to me by my mother and her sisters. So I began to collect both written anecdotes and spoken memories of bygone days which preserve our precious heritage. From this I was inspired to write THE LARPENTEUR STORY. It is not the purpose of this book to be a complete history of the family. Rather it is intended to serve as a collection of stories about family history and stories about family members, as well as photographs and memorabilia that may be of interest. In reading this book you will note that in the later generations there is a lot of information about my immediate family. It is not my intention to slight any part of the Larpenteur family, but to provide for my family as much history as I know. I encourage all members of the Larpenteur family to update this book with information about their own families so that the beautiful heritage of the Larpenteurs will live on for future generations. There are several blank pages in the back of the book which are reserved for this purpose. I suggest that you take this book with you to family gatherings so you can add the names of newborns and other outstandiong achievements of family members." This book has 77 pages and is profusely illustrated. Overall, a FINE copy of this VERY SCARCE title. Seller Inventory # 060902
