About this Item

Vignette of Burma before 1941, when it was still an exotic and little understood land of loveliness and savagery. This is a tale of mystery, smuggling, polo, murder and dangerous men. The book is in good condition, covered in red cloth, pages are slightly yellowed but unmarked and clean. The DJ is complete but has several closed tears along the edges, some small chips (especially at the corners and spine ends) and is clipped on the bottom of the foldover. There is also evidence of much handling. A Brodart protector has been added to preserve it from further wear. Bookseller Inventory # 000934
