Carta geografica raffigurante il territorio del Lazio, edita da Abraham Ortelius nel suo "Parergon" dato alle stampe dal 1595. La carta presenta decorativi cartigli a volute in cui, nell'angolo in a destra, � riportato il titolo, mentre nell'angolo in basso a sinistra, trova collocazione una raffigurazione del Monte Circeo. "Mount Circeo (SouthEast of Rome), is the supposed dwelling place of the mythical goddess/witch Circe, who enchanted Odysseus and turned his companions into swine. Ortelius' source for this inset map was Angelo Breventano".*Lungo il lato sinistro, entro cartiglio ovale, la dedicatoria a Marco Velsero.L'incisione � caratterizzata da una gradevole coloritura all'acquerello e particolarmente interessante in quanto si tratta di una versione non menzionata nella bibliografia di riferimento.
