Book Description Pantheon Books, New York, 1970. Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. First US edition, first printing. A near fine book with a purple "H" stamped near the bottom of the half-title page. "H" stands for "hurt", and is supposed to signify a damaged book. I have examined this one carefully, and apart from the "H", can find nothing at all wrong with it, except for a very lightly tapped lower front corner. The jacket is near fine, with a closed tear (less than 1") and associated crease at the lower rear spine fold, else fine. The jacket is bright and unfaded, not notably creased and is not price-clipped. Seller Inventory # 5448
