Khoi paper accordion fold; 18 manuscript panels (oblong, 15-by-3.25 inches) on the "verso," 16 panels of brightly colored hand-painted artwork (plus 2 plain black covers) on the "recto." Covers a little rubbed; small closed tears along folds, but holding just fine (as is frequently the case with these robust traditional volumes). N.d., likely late- 19th or early-20th century. A very nice example of a Shan-Burmese white parabaik, suitable for display. The panels of artwork are accompanied by one line of text each, telling the story of the Buddha. Seller Inventory # D4832
