409 pages; Full leather covers are heavily scuffed and show general wear; There are tears along joints of front board and spine at both ends; There is a one inch portion of leather torn away from head of spine; Leather spine labels show some wear, though lettering remains legible; Front hinge (internal) is cracked and there is slight loosening and a couple of signatures are sprung; Text remains fairly tight, however, and is well attached to covers; Two leaves in index (pages 395/96 and 397/98) have a large, closed tear; Scattered foxing, mostly at front and rear; Scattered moisture stains, mostly affecting edges; Complete and very legible; Working or perhaps binding copy of this very scarce work.
