Moderate shelfwear and siling, light toning to interior, small label stating the books have been treated with a "poisonous solution" to prevent the "ravages of insects" to front pastedown. $150. * Originally part of the British Solomon Islands, the Gilbert and Ellice Islands Colony existed from 1892 to 1976. Today, the Gilbert Islands are part of Kiribati and the Ellice Islands are Tuvalu. Bryce's was the first compilation of the colony's laws.
