Black marker streak along top edges of text block. Gilt titling front cover slight bit of dulling, while spine gilt more darkened. Two four-page sections of b&w photos. Author's memories of being dropped off with her sister at the Children's Home of the Eastern Shore of Maryland (in Easton) by her father circa early 1920's and of her experiences living there until her graduation in 1933 and beyond.
