Lee Rhee Za began sewing in her childhood. In 1971 she entered her work in the Pan-national Costume contest. By 1974 she on her way to fame with an award for "best national costume" in the Miss Universe Pageant held in the Philippines. Her designs and work allowed her to combine her stage name, "Lee Rhee Za" and "Korean Dress" into the pronoun, Lee Rhee Za Korean Dress. This folio size volume is filled with color plates of her dresses and colorful designs. The accompanying text is in both English and Korean. The Red cloth covered book and it's navy blue cloth covered slipcase are without faults. The book is signed by Lee Rhee Za on the front free end paper. A search for information on this volume did not reveal any copies for sale. It was found that copies are part of the following libraries holdings: Stanford University, The Library of Congress, Harvard University, and Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA.
