Publisher's original one-half dark brown leather, spine with black morocco title label lettered in gilt, over gray boards with gray ribbed endpapers, sm thick 4to. The classic foundational work on anthropometry. Martin's methods on measuring skull and long bones form the basis of modern human skeletal biology. From the research library of physical anthropologist J. H. McGregor with his signature on the front endpaper dated 1919. Rare work. Outer leather corners of binding are rubbed and a bit worn, a few old cracks to the morocco title/author label, the text is bright and clean with no signs of use; a tight copy in very good condition.
