He was personal physician to Grover Cleveland and William McKinley; organized the Rough Riders during the Spanish American war; and served in the Philippines and then trained soldiers during the First World War. First edition (first printing). One of 115 sets on special paper, signed by Wood on a tipped in sheet--a flyleaf from a book with his ownership signature.
