House); 14th Congress, 2nd session, no. 40. "[40]" printed at head of title-page. 8vo. 12 pp. Shaw & Shoemaker 42614. Removed from a nonce volume. Lightly pencilled librarian's notation on title-page, another notation in blue crayon on verso (blank side) of title-page. Shallow chip at inner edge, not touching text. Rubber-stamped on the title-page by the War Department Library. Long tear (carefully repaired with transparent tape) to last leaf, affecting (but not costing) several letters of text. Waterstained at top margins. Bookseller Inventory # 15586
