Frontispiece portrait engraving of Paine after the picture by "Ped of Philadelphia". 58 pp. Heavy foxing to the portrait otherwise a remakably clean, bright example bound in more modern white paper wraps. "A Letter to The Earl Of Shelburne" was the 12th and final part of Paine's "The American Crisis" series, originally written and published throughout the American Revolution.
