About the Author:

King Whyte as born in Montreal in 1911. During the 1930’s he worked in the United States in stock theatre and radio. He returned to Canada in 1939, and was a radio producer for the CBC in Winnipeg. Following the Second World War, Mr. Whyte was a columnist for The Toronto Star and hosted The Outdoor Sportsman and The King Whyte Show on CBC.
