Book measures approximately 8.75" x 5.25", with 208 pages of text plus ads. Lacking the fold-out map. The book is in poor to fair condition. Top of the front and rear boards appear water damaged. No evidence of internal water damage. The book was quarter-bound in leather with gilt titling on the spine; But the leather has mostly perished and the gilt almost entirely faded. Hinges cracked. Foxing and some staining to the preliminary and terminal pages. Inner text is surprisingly clean. Small worm-hole from the front endpaper to page 10. A rare travel and exploration book in unfortunate condition, worthy of being restored. Please view the many other rare titles available for purchase at our store.
