About this title

Synopsis:

Our Destiny Entwined tells the epic tale of Lewis and Clark and the Corps of Discovery during the fall and winter of 1805-1806. This historical narrative, based on the actual journals of the expedition, transports the reader back in time to the wild and beautiful land along the Pacific Coast of present day Washington and Oregon. It is a lavishly illustrated historical fiction that captures, in rich detail, the lives, hardships and passions of the 33 members of the Corps of Discovery, as well as many of the people they mat along the way. Over 200 color photographs, a dozen detailed maps, and abundant entries from Lewis and Clark s own journals support this heroic and true story of exploration and discovery. Their arrival at the Pacific Coast, and the construction of a wooden fortification they named Fort Clatsop signified the end of their westward journey, and yet continues to present day as one of the most unheralded aspects of the expedition.

Harmel moved to Astoria, Oregon in 1978, and has spent many years capturing the Pacific Northwest regions dramatic and haunting images on film. Terms of Sale:

Private merchant account, no taxes on sales and a standard shipping fee in accordance to rates.

Shipping Terms:

U.S. Shipping:
We ship our books according to media rate through the US Postal Services. This is the cheapest way for us to ship you your books. We will contact you if shipping will cost more than the listed price. Please note that heavier and larger-sized books will cost more to ship as the general shipping cost is used for average-weight/sized books. If you would like your book insured, specifically packed or delivered faster it will cost more and you will need to contact us.

All our packages are wrapped in foam, bubble wrap, peanuts or a combination thereof.

International Shipping:
As a standard for shipping, we ship all our books in a Global Priority Flat Rate mailer envelope. This costs just a couple bucks more than ground and will get there in 4 to 10 business days instead of the one to two months it would for Ground. Priority in a box costs a bit more (about 17.50,) but has that added bit of protection. We're more than happy to ship Ground for $9.00 or Express for $30.00. Let us know what you prefer if the option isn't listed.

All our packages are wrapped in foam, bubble wrap, peanuts or a combination thereof.
